Known as ‘the meadow [prato] without any grass’, this large elliptical city square measures 88,620 m2. It is not only the biggest in Padua but, within the whole of Europe, is second in size only to Moscow’s Red Square.
Panoramic terrace on Monte Ricco hill, dominated by the statue of Hercules supporting the world. The terrace can be reached by following the signs for Path n.6-Monte Ricco and Monte Castello within the Regional Park of the Euganean Hills. From the terrace you can enjoy a splendid view over the plain and the surrounding hills. The site is only accessible on foot or by bicycle.
