Characteristics of the via ferrata: A difficult passage on rocks (I degree), without secure cables on the last stretch of the ferrata. Short descent by steps, steep and exposed, followed by the aerial crossing with steel cables and exposed climb. The steel cables are not very tight, and some of the protruding wires of the cables can lead to hand injuries and abrasions.
Access to the via ferrata: from the cable-car station (signposted) path n. 18 takes you to the Camosci/ Gamsstallscharte crossroad, 2, 620m. Descend in a North-Easterly direction, and follow the signposted 18-516 (on the right starts the path for the Torre di Pisa haven). Walk across the valley of the Alta Valsorda and arrive at the Campanili di Dentro crossroads, 2,590 m.
Technical details: simple ferrata, but long, some stretches are walkable, one exposed point without security cables (I degree), a steep descent down steps followed by an aerial cross (steel cables).
Type of the path: 30% steel cable, 2% steps, 5% exposed path, 63% normal path.
Complete gradient of climb: 870 m, 4-4:30 hours
Complete gradient to the beginning of the climb: 680 m, 2:30 hours.
Gradient of the ferrata: 190 m, 1:30 hours-2 hours.
Descent: from the Grande del Latemar crossroads, 2,620 m (at the end of the ferrata there is a camping-site), descend for a short stretch (signposted) and follow path n.18 returning to the crossroads under the Campanili di Dentro/Rotlahnscharte crossroads. From here go down along the original climbing path.

Drive across Val d’Ega towards Brichabruck – Ponte Nova and then turn off to Obereggen.
