Access: Directly from the hairpin curve you can start to ascent (small information board). You follow the narrow path over the alpine meadows uphill and through mountain pines you reach the sign for the alpine hut Telegrafo (n. 657). The final part of the ascent leads of the back of the crest behind which you can find the mentioned alpine hut. At the first junction you turn to the left and shortly you will enter an old path of replenishment (n. 658) from the First World War. You follow this path to the south until you reach a well visible grey pillar, cut by the narrow road. Shortly after the culvert you will find a sign (Ferrata delle Taccole). You leave the path and follow the narrow path steeply downhill until the steps lead over the loose gravel and down to the rocks. Red dots lead the way to the access point that can be reached via a narrow band (sign at the start of the steel ropes).
Characteristics and technical details: difficult via ferrata that requires a good portion of arm strength. Especially the part in the middle is very steep; steps make this part easier, but they should not be taken for granted. Good techniques are required, again especially in this middle part.
Descent: From the highest point you follow the grassy back to the south, descending until you reach the path of replenishment, used to walk uphill in the first part. Past the access point and following the path you started on, you can reach the starting point.
Difficulties and general information: short, but steep and exhausting via ferrata at the northern slope of the Monte Baldo (Vetta delle Buse). Long and steep access. In the season you can rest (also at night) in the alpine hut Telegrafo. After snow-rich winters you can also find some snow during the summer, especially near the access cirque. This makes the steep descent more difficult. The via ferrata alone, even though difficult and beautiful, is relatively short and has an unusually long access-path. The landscape around the Monte Baldo and the view of the Lake Garda are, together with the walk across the Ferrata della Taccole, a unique experience. Spring and fall are ideal for this tour because it tends to be too warm in the summer and the views are worse.
Small parking area at the hairpin curve between the alpine hut Cedron and the alpine hut Novezzina.
