mountain tour with a long access path, while most of the altitude difference is mastered along this access path. The actual via ferrata does not have great differences in altitude along the western flank of the mountain Elfer and runs along natural mountain crests.
starting from the chairlift’s station you walk down to the hut Rudihütte and along a broad path you hike uphill over the meadows until you reach a junction (with signs). Turn right and you will come to spurs of the Rotwandköpfe mountains and eventually you will come to another junction. You turn right again and along the path n. 100 you will reach the cirque Anderteralpenkar. The following path is steep and exhausting (and partly not in very good conditions) and you will reach the yoke Elferscharte (n. 124).
this is more of a hike along natural paths than a via ferrata. All the exposed passages are secured with steel ropes.
