Informationen zu Hotel Untersteinerhof
The Untersteinerhof Hotel in Valle Aurina is located right on the Sentiero Sunsat and the Sentiero Leonardi paths. If you happen to gaze from the hotel to the valley, you will see a beautiful view across fields, forests, mountains and isolated villages. The Valle Aurina is one of the largest side valleys of Val Pusteria. It is also a valley that is surprisingly well blessed with high mountain peaks: there are over 80 summits reaching 3,000 metres that surround the valley.
It shouldn’t come as a surprise that one of the most beloved locations by the guests is the terrace of the Untersteinerhof Hotel. Your gaze can wonder around freely, while you are pampered with scrumptious dishes. If a terrace view is too boring, than you can play table tennis or table football, while children play on the playground of the nearby farm, where you can also observe how farmers live their life from up close. And if one day ends with you feeling all achy and cranky (maybe after an exciting day on the slopes and in the mountains) you can use the sauna, which banishes all trace of fatigue.
You can also enjoy the view from the rooms of the Untersteinerhof hotel. These are fitted with everything you need for a perfect holiday. As the Untersteinerhof knows very well that every holiday needs an excellent deluxe culinary programme, the kitchen of the 3-star hotel does not need any introductions. Enjoy hearty breakfast buffets or dinners, which are always much appreciated by guests.
The Untersteinerhof Hotel knows what is good in life: located at 1,200 m altitude, in San Giacomo in Valle Aurina, nothing can disturb the peace and quiet of this idyllic location.
The rooms, sober and well cared for, offer all you need for a perfect holiday: shower, WC, hair dryers, phone, satellite TV, WiFi access, etc. This will ensure you can decide how much of the outside world you want to leave at the door. The furnishing of the rooms has always been of outstanding quality, regardless if it’s a double room, a room with two beds (ideal for children) or a single room.
SATISFIED FROM EVERY PERSPECTIVE
Morning at the Untersteinerhof hotel starts with a great breakfast. Cooking is one of the hotel’s strong points. Choose from a buffet breakfast where you can choose different South Tyrolean products, such as Speck, juices, yogurts, muesli, and all that belongs to a varied and genuine breakfast. And the cooking takes place of honour with its dinners, with typical South Tyrolean and international dishes. A lot of local seasonal produce is used, together with aromatic herbs and salad from the hotel’s garden.
The delicious dishes are tasted in the sunny dining hall of the hotel.
SUMMER & WINTER
Live every day actively. In winter hikers can enjoy the snow-capped mountains and valleys, offering a stunning view over beautiful walking paths. If you’re sporty, have fun on the slopes of the Klausberg and Speikboden skiing carousels, sleigh ride (even under the moonlight), ski mountaineering, ice skating, and cross-country skiing.
During summer you can ascend mountains, surrounded by the impressive spectacle of the over 80 3,000 m summits. Practice climbing, trekking or Nordic Walking. The summits can be conquered in many ways, always enjoying the views over meadows, fields, waterfalls and forests. You can stop in a picturesque mountain hut as integral part of the hike.
Beautiful during every season!
