Der imposante 3000er grüßt von der Sonnenseite des Tals herüber. Er bildet den Blickfang während dieser Schneewanderung zur meist tief eingeschneiten Alm.
Anfahrt von Gossensaß nach St. Anton in Innerpflersch. Vom dortigen Talboden (1215 m; Parkplätze) stets der Beschilderung “Alriss” folgend zuerst südwärts auf breiter Brücke über den Talbach, rechts kurz auf der nach Stein führenden Straße hinan zu Straßengabelung, hier links ab und dann stets auf dem breiten gebahnten Forstweg durch die Waldhänge in Kehren hinauf zur Alrißalm (1534 m, Ausschank); ab St. Anton knapp 1:30 Std. Der Abstieg erfolgt auf dem beschriebenen Weg in rund 1:00 Std.
