Turn-by-turn directions
Starting at the Tourist Office head towards the village center to the bank (Sparkasse/Cassa di Risparmio). Take a left turn, and go as far as the fire station. Walk up the Via dei contadini/Feldbauernweg road before turning right and follow the signs to Matatz (trail no. 7). About halfway, the path joins up with the Merano High Mountain Trail (Meraner Höhenweg – no. 24) leading all the way to Valtelehof. Return to the point of departure going back the same way.
