Gently through the winter
The hiking trail climbs gently up to the Weizgrubalm. The view stretches across to the peaks of the Rieserfernergruppe, which are over 3,000 metres high, and even as far as the Dolomites, which greet you with the Three Peaks, among others, at the Weizgruberalm.

From the car park (approx. 1625 m) on foot, always on the wide forestry and tobogganing path in bends through the forest slopes up to the mountain meadows and through these to the hut of the Weizgruberalm (2032 m; bar); from the car park 1:30 h. Descent: as ascent (a good 1 h; in favourable snow conditions you can also descend via the much shorter but steeper, in any case well-marked old footpath).
