To the Aglsbodenalm in the Ridnaun valley head

From Maiern (Hotel Schneeberg, 1400 m) on a narrow side road across the valley stream to the hamlet of Gsennen, follow the signs to the Aglsbodenalm; follow the wide forest road, which is not to be missed, only slightly ascending and partly even through meadows and forest into the valley to a flat bottom, up to the edge of the wide Aglboden (here a small dam) and on the paved path across the bottom to the hut of the Aglsbodenalm (1720m, not managed in winter); from the starting point 1:30 hrs. Descent: Either to the mountain ünze via the ascent trail or from the lower Boden on the narrower, but also paved footpath (in the last part there are a few rocky spots with ropes) on the orographic right side through the forest out of the valley to the head of the Ridnaun valley (here buildings of the former mine) and briefly out on the road to the starting point; a good 1 hour.
