Once you have reached the destination amidst open meadow slopes, you are offered the most comprehensive view of the hike, looking over the central Pustertal, the Tauferer Tal and the surrounding mountains all the way to the high peaks of the Zillertaler Hauptkamm.
From the car park on foot, always on the wide hiking and tobogganing trail, which is paved in all snow conditions, through the forest slopes, climbing moderately in serpentines up to the meadows and to Haidenberger Hof (1280 m, inn); from the starting point 1:00 hrs – Descent: as ascent (also possible with the toboggan).
