From Siusi allo Sciliar (997 m) first take the road leading to Castelrotto northwards up to the signposts on the left of the road (start of the Laranzer Runden), on the small road branching off here (M 5/5A) slightly uphill westwards to a meadow saddle with a view of the Sciliar and a resting bench, on the small road through meadows over to the Laranzhof, now on the footpath always following the M 5 and signs “Große Laranzer Runde” after a short ascent almost level through the forest to the Königswarte (lookout point with bench, approx. 1150 m, from Siusi a good 1:00 hrs), on trail 5 partly level, partly slightly up and down through forest slopes on to the meadows of the Lanzinhöfe farms, on the access road eastwards over to the Telfensattel (Siusi-Castelrotto road crossing) and along the road (pavement) down to Siusi, from Königswarte 1:30 hrs.
