Turn-by-turn directions
The starting point is at the valley station of the cable car in Burgstall/Postal. This classic among the high hiking trails covers an altitude differential of 1,000 metres and runs from Burgstall to Vöran (1,200m) on the sunny high plateau on the Tschögglberg Mountain Plateau.
The best manage the hike’s 1,000 metres of altitude differential in about an hour's time - maybe even a little less.
For the descent of the Sunnseitn Steig Hike, you can take the panoramic cable car into the valley. This is a good way to protect your limbs - especially your knee joints.
