Piz La Ila is quickly reached from Stern
From the car park, walk directly to the lift building, past it (follow the cable car route) and up the road briefly to the first crossroads (left turn). Turn left and follow the path „tru do l’ega“ to the next fork. Turn right there, keep to the right again at the car park (signposting – trail no. 4) and continue upwards along the natural road, past a panorama board and partly along the ski slope. Continue along the natural road (always marked no. 4) until you turn right onto trail no. 4 A, which leads up to the Piz La Ila mountain station. Time required 40 min.– 1 hr. 40 min.
