Attention: starting on August 1st, 2016, the construction work of the new accumulation zone and snowmaking lines in Ski Area Ces – Valcigolera will start, and for this reason we recommend walking the trails with caution especially in the sections close to the site areas. Please note that the practicability of the itineraries in a mountain environment is strictly linked to the contingent conditions and is therefore influenced by natural phenomena, environmental changes and weather conditions. For this reason, the information contained in this page may have changed. Before leaving for a tour, make sure the path you will approach is still accessible by contacting the owner of the mountain hut, the alpine guides or the visitor centres of the nature parks, the info offices of the local tourist board.

Turn-by-turn directions
You start from the Palazzetto dello Sport (Sports Centre) of San Martino di Castrozza on a first short stretch of paved road in the direction of the parking lots of the start of the ski lifts. Immediately after the parking lot you take the path of ’O Piccolo’ on the right to then come out, after a short up-and-down stretch, on the paved road that leads to Malga Ces by turning left. After a few hundred meters you leave the paved road to take the path that leads to the ‘Campigol di Malga Ces’. Here begins a steep climb that leads first to Campigol and then to Malga Ces. After passing Malga Ces you enter on another pleasant and slightly downhill path that leads to Val Cigolera and then on a dirt road to Bivio Val Cigolera, where you turn left into a challenging descent on path. At the end of the descent, the path becomes dirt road, and, passing the intersection ‘Quattro Strade’ (Four Roads), you continue towards Colfosco in a continuous up-and-down path. To get to Colfosco, you take a short but very challenging climb, and, finally, you arrive on a dirt road that leads back to the Palazzetto dello Sport.
