High above Sterzing
Up to the Rosskopf is an increasingly steep climb.

The signposted ascent (trail marker no. 19) starts right next to the restaurant at the car park by the valley station. Climb up briefly along the edge of the forest, pass under the motorway and stay on trail no. 19 at the next fork (signposted „Bergstation“). Continue uphill through the forest until the trail meets the asphalt road at the hamlet of Unterraminges. Continue to the left here (640 m on asphalt follow). Immediately after the bend to the left, follow the signs to the right uphill, past an abandoned farm and continue through the forest. In a clearing you cross the asphalt road twice. At the turnoff to the Enzianhütte, continue straight ahead and stay on trail no. 19. The trail continues briefly through the forest, followed by another clearing and, becoming steeper, a last forest, then you reach a hollow path up to the toboggan run.
