Run from Brixen via Kloster Neustift to Lake Vahrner See

From the car park, walk towards the river. Turn left along the cycle path upstream to the cycle bridge, cross it and continue upstream. At the fork, keep to the right until you reach the Neustift monastery. Now follow the Eisack river into the Riggertal valley. Cross the river at the bridge and, shortly before the Vorderriggerhof farm, follow the Vahrner See markings (no. 1) steeply uphill to the left. At the barracks, briefly turn onto the state road and follow the access road to the lake downhill; pass under the motorway and railway tracks, then turn right. Go around the lake.
