Turn-by-turn directions

From Saltria, the run leads to the Hotel Tirler, the end of the run. The uphill stretch is both a sledge run and a walking route, and leads up through a thick pine wood to the Mahlknecht refuge and the set-off point for the downhill run to Saltria, in an ever-changing play of light and shade. A night-time sledging outing when the full moon is shining over the Seiser Alm is guaranteed to be an unforgettable experience. And if you’d prefer to avoid the walk up, a snow-cat or a skidoo is on hand to take you to the Mahlknecht refuge.

By road

The road to the landscape conservation area Seiser Alm is closed to private traffic from 9.00am to 5.00pm. During this time you can get to the Seiser Alm by the Seiser Alm cable carr from Seis or by bus from Kasteleuth.
