Vineyards and apple trees.
A comprehensive circular walk through one of the most beautiful cultural landscapes in South Tyrol.

The starting point of the Valle Isarco Wine and Apple Trail is the oldest and historically particularly interesting Bressanone district of Stufels. Through the old alleyways, always following trail no. 10, you quickly climb up to the vineyards above the town. After about half an hour you reach trail no. 1, which you follow on flatter terrain through the apple orchards to Elvas (about 25 min). The trail now leads in gentle ups and downs along the forest past the abandoned military site to the village of Natz (1h). The trail continues north to a vantage point over the steeply sloping Rienzschlucht gorge and finally heads west to the pretty village of Viums (about 1h). On the way to the next village, you pass the Sommersürs biotope and hike along the Flötscher Weiher pond to finally reach Raas (50 min). Here the descent begins through the vineyards down to the famous Neustift monastery (30 min) and on small side roads back to Stufels in Brixen (50 min).
