Nature discovery trail Zans

From the car park in Zans at the head of the Villnöss valley, the trail leads across the Piuswiese meadow and over a wooden bridge to a game reserve. Continue to a lime kiln, past the Kelderer-Wiese hut and the forester's lodge. From there you finally reach the car park again. The gradient of the path, which has a special wearing surface, is a maximum of eight percent. Again and again there are rest areas that invite you to rest and relax. The Zans Nature Experience Trail takes hikers into the unique landscape of the Puez-Odle Nature Park. Directly below the impressive Geisler peaks, in the midst of intact forests and flowering alpine meadows, the trail leads through a rural cultural landscape. A total of 14 stations, some of which are equipped with Braille, provide information about the origins and natural history features of this area.
