Follow trail no. 1 up towards Issing. The lower, somewhat gorge-like section is quite interesting - past the mountain pine distillery and further up into the fraction "Mühlen" to the restaurant Schöneck - above it further to the Säulenfichte. To the west of the natural monument, the path descends until you meet a wide forest path. Follow this in a westerly direction until you come to a fork in the road. Now turn left (trail no. 65) and return to the starting point.
