Oberhalb der Wurzer Almen
Die Wurzer Alpenspitz ist ein unschwierig zu besteigender Gipfel im Ridnauntal.

Tour von Gilbert Holzmann. Vom Parkplatz wandert man zunächst links vom Bach (Mark. 24) über Felder zum Weiler Entholz und in östlicher Richtung zur Krösswiese. Ab hier folgt man der Markierung 25, anfangs auf der Forststraße, später auf dem Almweg durch den Durachwald hinauf zur Äußeren Wurzeralm. Ab hier befindet man sich in freiem Gelände und genießt den Sonnenschein und den weiten Blick. Nun steigt man über die Almweiden hinauf zum sogenannten Scheidegg, dem Grenzrücken zwischen Äußerer- und Innerer Wurzeralm. Dieser leitet uns direkt hinauf zum Gipfel der Wurzer Alpenspitz und nur im letzten Teilanstieg wird’s etwas steiler, ehe sich am Gipfelgrat das Panorama nach S und SW öffnet. Abstieg von der Wurzer Alpenspitz: Wie Aufstieg. Wahlweise kann man ab Scheidegg (Mark. 25B) zur Inneren Wurzeralm und durch Wald absteigen. Auf der Krösswiese trifft man dann wieder auf die Aufstiegsspur.
