Snooc on the road from Saint Nizier du Moucherotte to the 1120m in a talweg facing north a forest path that goes east south-east. It’s wild, cold, a little dark but the route has some nice surprises. You arrive on Roche Rousse after 2 kms of climbing on forest road . The atmosphere is wild and quiet in gentle uphill perfect for a family stroll. The descent takes place on the north-western slope in a different atmosphere open as a lookout from the entrance to the Vercors plateau, overlooking the Furon gorges. Safety informationNever leave alone . The route is not well signposted to study the map upstream . The start is not obvious (in a bend with a wild parking on the right of the road .)
