Unique panoramic view.
The tour to the "Am Joch" is easy and rewarding even without skis. Ideal for high winter and for sun-seekers.

Tour by Raimund Gietl. For the tour to "Am Joch" climb up from the car park on the right at the edge of the forest, cross the toboggan run and continue on the old alpine path (Mark. 5) up to the Untere Pertinger-Alm. Cross the alpine meadow and continue uphill past the hut on the left. At the upper edge of the meadow you reach the toboggan run again. Continue uphill for about 300 m until you reach the next clearing. There you cross to the right (Mark. 5) and climb up the steep slope to the Obere Pertinger-Alm. From there, head north-west uphill over the wide ridge. Because the terrain is not difficult, everyone can create their own ascent track. At the end of the mountain ridge you have already reached the highest point and stand on the „Am Joch“. Here you are rewarded with a unique panoramic view, from the Haunold in the east, over the Three Peaks, Monte Cristallo, Hohe Gaisl, to the mountains of Sennes and Fanes, the Sella Stock, Puez-Geisler Group, Peitlerkofel, to the
