Turn-by-turn directions
The start and the end point of the Robert-Cheruiyot-Track is in Compatsch. The running trail leads past the St. Franziskus Church towards Ritsch and turns off to the left just before the hotel. It then takes you uphill to the Hotel Icaro and below the Contrin Schwaige hut to the mountain station of the Ortisei/St. Ulrich cable car. After the climb it's all downhill towards the Sanon hut and back to Compatsch. The route leads over a varied trail of gravel, asphalt and mountain trails.

Getting there
The road to the landscape conservation area Seiser Alm is closed to private traffic from 9.00am to 5.00pm. During this time you can get to the Seiser Alm by the Seiser Alm cable car from Seis or by bus from Kastelruth. You can descend from Compatsch at any time.Coordinates
