Beautiful trail which winds its way across the upper part of the Castelvecchio forest exclusively on forest tracks and roads. The wood offers plenty of shade which is why this trail is especially ideal during summer. Drinking fountain at the highest point of the trail.

This stroll starts from the sport zone on the hiking trail towards Castelvecchio. Once you’ve reached the crossroads (houses with a wayside shrine), continue to the right on a steep ascent for a couple of hundred metres, it will then even out right up to the Ziegelstadel. Continue northbound, then take another left uphill and follow the forest road until the access to the alta via takes a right. Cross the first forest road and continue on the Single trail to the next forest road. Stick to it, going uphill to the highest point of the trail and then walk downhill for around 4 km. Take a short hike uphill once you get to the first homes at the signpost for Castelvecchio and follow this path to the starting point. 

TIP: Stunning landscape and perfect during every season, but only ideal for trained athletes. The wood offers plenty of shade which is why this trail is especially ideal during summer.
