From the centre of Terenten, go on the level, asphalted road that leads out of the hamlet of Pein. The path leads past the Forncherhof farm and then slightly uphill through the woods to the hamlet of Margen. The little St. Margareth church is the highest point of this run. From there, the trail goes downhill along the Margen road and back to the village centre.
