To the Jochgrimm.
A not too hard excursion from Bolzano to the Jochgrimm at the foot of the Weißhorn and Schwarzhorn with two relatively long climbs. Directly below the twin mountains in front of the Lavazèjoch - a popular skiing area in winter - unfortunately a gravel road begins, so that the circumnavigation of the horns is reserved for mountain bikers.

Start in Bolzano, take the Adige cycle path to Auer. At the junction of the cycle path at SP 127 after a small tunnel ➊ turn left towards the centre of Auer. In Auer ➋ follow the signs for Val di Fiemme/Val di Fassa. After the climb ➌ always follow the SS 48. Over the Passo di San Lugano ➍, in Cavalese ➎ turn left at the roundabout onto the SS 620 Passo Oclini. Detour from Lavazèjoch ➏ to the Wei;- and Schwarzhorn ➐. Back over the pass and towards Bolzano. At the junction turn left ➑ and return via Birchabruck ➒ downhill to Bolzano. Don't forget the lights for the long tunnel from the Val d'Ega.
