Shaded pine forests
This is a great mountain biking tour for hot summer days in the Lagorai group! Almost the entire tour runs along the shaded pine forests of the Val Maggiore, a side valley in the Predazzo area. The imposing pine trees are a few hundred years old and give the forest a magical atmosphere.

There is a food stop straight after the first climb, at the sill of the Malga di Val Maggiore, where typical dishes from the trentino region are served. the second climb to the cece lake is a slow and painful one. the lake is one of the most beautiful of the over 100 lakes of the Lagorai. At an elevation of 1880 m this sort of nature display is a very unusual one. the long descent leads to the gorge of Sotto Sassa in the travignolo and under an imposing and stunning stone bridge arch. the Lizata bridge was built in 1893 by the “Magnifica comunità di Fiemme”.
