Through the Val Campo di Dentro
This is an easy and therefore popular tour for beginners either on a mountain bike or an e-bike. This route follows low trafficked b roads and forest paths through the pretty Campo di Dentro Valley, at the foot of the Punta Tre Scarperi peak.

the goal and turning point is the Rifugio tre Scarperi, at the valley head. From the refuge onwards a strict “no mountain bikes” policy is in place. In summer there is a shuttle bus service to the second car park, it is recommended that extra care is taken in this section. Itinerary description From San candido ➊ town centre (1175 m) head toward the val- ley-station of the Baranci ski-lift; at ➋ the bridge take a left onto the S.candido–Sesto cycle path. Ride along the Rio Sesto river up to the ➌ car park, then climb to the right on paved road, entering the campo di Dentro Valley up to the ➍ terminus of the shuttle bus. After 2 km is the ➎ Rifugio tre Scarperi (1626 m); the return route will be the same route backwards.
