MTB tour on the Felthurner Alm (Alpe die Velturno) - via the Garner Wetterkreuz to the Klausner Hütte and up a steep ascent to the Latzfonser Kreuz (Croce die Lazfons)

The mountain bike tour to the Latzfonser Kreuz starts in Felthurns (Velturno). First head towards Verdings (Verdignes) along the Keschtnweg, then take a sharp right turn and follow the Panoramaweg up to Schnauders (Snodres). Turn left here onto path 17 to the Garner Wetterkreuz. Continue on the same marked path to the Kühhof and then straight along path 1 up to the Klausner Hütte (1920m). The tour then leads you to the Rungger Hütte and steeply uphill to the little summit church at the Latzfonser Kreuz (2304m). For the last section, you will have to push. Go down the path to the Rungger Hütte, branch off to the left and ride across the Verinner and Zalter Alm to the Brugger Schupfe (2000m). Continue to the Glanger Alm and take path 10 down to the Garner Wetterkreuz. Follow path 17 to Schnauders (Snodres) and return to the starting point along the Mühlbach stream.
