To the Mauslochalm
From Naturns to huts and farms on the Nörderberg mountain in the lower Vinschgau valley.
Our starting point to the Mauslochalm is car park 2 in Naturnser Bahnhofstra;e. Via the Etschbrück bridge, the road leads past the football pitch and immediately zigzags uphill in the direction of the Nünderberg (large sign). Stay on the asphalted road, cross the Jesus path twice and climb steeply but steadily up the shady Nderberg. The asphalt ends at the turnoff to the Öberst and Platt pubs, but the road is still open to traffic. Only at about 1500 metres at Kreuzbrünnl is the barrier behind which only mountain bikers „have free passage“. After just a few metres, the decision is made: a short and easy walk to Zetnalm (also known as Altalm) or a longer walk to Frantschalm (also known as Mauslochalm). We decide on the second option and therefore turn right.
