This varied tour leads through the orchards of the South Tyrolean lowlands, through the Castelfeder biotope and via the "Vecia Ferovia" (Old Fleimstal Railway) to Truden to the Cisloner Alm. Continue over the Cislon to the small village of Gschnon in Truden, to the viewpoint of the Kanzel, to Mazon and via Neumarkt back to Tramin.

The tour starts in Tramin and you cycle to Auer to the cycle path towards Neumarkt. Then you cycle uphill on the railway line of the old Fleimstal railway to Kaltenbrunn. It is mostly a pleasant climb with a few short ramps. Continue to Truden and from there to the Cisloner Alm (refreshments). You go around the Cislon and downhill to Gschnon. Here you reach the lookout point of the 970-metre-high Kanzel and enjoy the magnificent panorama! Finally, you return via Neumarkt to the starting point in Tramin. For the almost 50 kilometres and more than 1400 metres of altitude that have to be covered on this tour, a very good level of fitness is absolutely essential in order to be able to enjoy the tour. The tour is located in the middle of the Trudner Horn Nature Park. It is important to protect it by following marked trails and not leaving any rubbish behind! Tour provided by:  Ingrid Pernstich
