Through the Münstertal
The route from Glurns to Taufers is ideal on hot summer days, as the cycle path along the Rambach river runs largely through shady mixed forest.
The signposted cycle path through the Münstertal valley to Taufers begins directly at the car park. The forest road leads through the shady forest, always on a constant incline, to the hamlet of Rifair. Adventurers can cross some small rivulets directly: the splashes of water are a pleasant refreshment. Those who are less daring can also use the small bridges. After Rifair, the trail continues for a while through the cool forest, but soon the valley widens and after a steep section across a meadow, you have a view of the village of Taufers and the Swiss mountains. Cross the Rambach via a small wooden bridge and follow the road to the right up to the main road, just a few metres from the Swiss-Italian border station. Now follow the road down to the pretty village of Taufers. However, it is worth continuing to the end of the village to the church of St. Johann. This church has the largest image of St. Christopher in the Alpine region on its outer wall. The return journey is the same
