In the larch forest.
There are few valleys in South Tyrol that are as lovely and easy to cycle through as the Fischleintal valley near Sexten with its light-flooded larch forests.

Directly at the car park, cross the Fischleinbach stream and follow signpost no. 102 to the left in the direction of Talschlusshütte. The wide forest road winds through the sparse larch forest of the still wide Fischlein valley on a moderate incline. The enjoyable ride through green meadows, past countless wooden huts weathered by the sun, ends at the large car park at the Fischleinboden hut. Passing the car park wall, you now follow the white gravelled forest road through the mountain pine forest. You are surrounded by the mighty Dolomite peaks of the Sesto Sundial with the Zehner, Elfer, Zwölfer and Einser. At the end of the valley you can take in the pale mountains over a hearty snack at the hut at the end of the valley, even if little adventurers will probably be more interested in the large playground, the ducks in the pond or the banks of the nearby Fischleinbach stream. The return journey is the same as the outward journey.
