The Tesino Bike Trophy
This tour runs on some old, remote connecting routes between three villages. Unfortunately the signage is not always ideal and some of the signs have been damaged. This makes orientation a little hard at times. This route, which runs on steep forest roads, technical single-tracks and short hike-a-bike sections, is quite interesting despite its technical data.
In this almost undiscovered part of the Bassa Valsugana lie the three villages of Cinte Tesino, Castello Tesino and Pieve Tesino. Itinerary description Start from the centre of ➊ Pieve Tesino (830 m, parking opportunity in the sport area, underneath the village), heading west toward the exit of the village and follow the first sign MTB route 245 “Castello Tesino“ to the ➋ Passo Forcella (910 m). After 50 metres we drop to the left, ➌ signage ”Rifugio Monte Lefre“, and shortly after the sport pitch ➍ take the steep forest road to the right, at the fork ➎ follow the sign-posted path and get to ➏ the road access, turn left on the paved road to Cinte Tesino (a fun single-track would lead straight into the village, but it’s partly overgrown), and from ➐ Piazzetta Busana Maria (village square) in Cinte Tesino (850 m) the route is again clearly sign-posted; cross a meadow and enter the forest (keeping track of the signs), and follow a not-well-defined path to the river. ➑ After crossing
