This long and physically demanding MTB tour takes you around the Plose.
The start of the Plose circuit is at the Grosse Graben in Brixen. Via Adlerbrückengasse and Unterdrittelgasse ücross the Rienz. Along the left Eisack dam to Albeins and there into the Afer valley. The trail climbs steeply along the Aferer Bach stream to a barrier and car park at approx. 1650 m above sea level. Turn left here, walk back along the road and then turn right up the Guflboden to the Enzian hut. From there take trail 9 down to the Lüsnerbach stream and keep left to the Kalkofenhütte. From here onto the tarred road and follow it to Petschied and Lüsen-Dorf. Continue on the main road for a short distance, then turn right into Kreuztal to Niederst. Down into the Rienzschlucht gorge, over the Rienzbrücke and up to Natz via trail no. 6. On trail no. 1 to Elvas and finally back to Brixen in the old town.
