The observatory Steinegg

From the centre of the Steinegg village, 820 m (1), you follow the main road for approx. 5 km in the direction of Gummer. At the sports centre, 1204 m (2), you turn right in the direction of Karneid. At the chapel Kasererbild, 1278 m (3), you continue straight to reach Gummer. At the junction near the fire fighters’ station, 1288 m (4), you turn left in the direction of Steinegg. 300 m from there you turn left again in the direction of the restaurant Vajolet. Before reaching the farm Malgeierhof you go right onto the “L-path” (red-white-red signs) until you reach the farm Untereggerhof and the observatory, 1336 m (5). The tour now follows the asphalted road uphill. 100 m from here you turn left in the direction of the Kasererbild chapel (3). Via the Tschigghof you will reach the chapel after a short track through the forest.
