St. Martin - Rit

The mountain bike tour starts at the car park in St. Martin in Thurn. Take the state road 244 in the direction of Bruneck until you reach Pikolein. Here our (asphalt) path branches off to the right to Gran Ju and continues to the mountain station of the Pikolein lift. Now we take forest roads (no. 13 / 15) in the direction of Rit (1941m) and Ritjoch. Below the Kreuzspitze (2021m) continue uphill on trail no. 13 to the highest point at approx. 2019m. Here is also the turn-off to the Paresberg. From here only downhill down the super steep path to the Ciurnadù car park. Continue on the road to the turn-off to Tolpei. Pass the distinctive church and continue along meadow paths to Cians. Follow the road to Wengen. In the village, turn right at the church and take trail no. 4 down into the Gadertal valley. Now follow the road to Bruneck for a little while, at the next bridge cross the river and finish on the path to the car park back to St. Martin.
