Marathon-like tour.
This tour requires either an endurance/marathon-like fitness level or two days to be completed. The route partly runs on the “Dolomiti Superbike“ itinerary; however, this doesn’t render the route any easier.

Although the stunning landscapes of the Braies Dolomites, the cristallo Group in the Dolomiti Ampezzane or the croda Rossa may certainly justify the effort required for this route, there are still 2800 vertical metres to be conquered. As a consolation, there are also a few kilometres on the Val Pusteria bicycle route and along the old Dobbiaco – cortina railway, now a bicycle path, which offer a good opportunity to restore the energy levels. the remainder of the route is just hard mountain biking work with a stunning alpine backdrop. Itinerary description Depart from the S.Vigilio natural Park Visitor centre ➊ 1250 m. Head toward the valley opening to the road to Passo di Furcia; at the La Miara cable car ➋ turn right onto route n. 1 following the directions to Passo di Furcia. At the first crossing ➌ continue straight to the fork ➍, take a left here, and look for the Albergo Miara ➎ 1500 m; continue straight ahead at the next fork ➏ above the village of Rara, then climb to the
