Varied tour with panoramas
This testing mountain bike tour has gorgeous panoramic views and runs from Natz (Naz) to the Ronerhütte on the Rodenecker Alm plateau

The tour is enchanting from the off. Starting in Natz (Naz), turn right into the romantic Rienz gorge. The difficult descent will require less experienced mountain bikers to push for a section. Cross the Rienz river and take the tractor path uphill to the Niedersthof restaurant. Ride along the asphalt road for a short while, then turn left onto trail 1 to the Kreuzstöckl chapel. Follow the path to Spisses and up to Gifen. Next take the road towards Nauders, turn right shortly before it and take the alpine road to the Rodenecker Alm. At 1500m, turn left and ride trail no. 14 over gravel and walking paths to the Ronerhütte guesthouse. Take the old alpine road (no.2) down to Nauders and continue to Vill. A detour to Rodenegg castle is worth the effort. Then take trail 1 downhill to the Rundelbrücke bridge. Next comes a short, punchy ascent to the Rundelhof guesthouse. Then continue to Schabs (Sciaves). Return via Raas (Rasa) to the starting point in Natz.
