For lake lovers
Easy round tour by mountain bike along many lakes from Brixen via Natz and Mühlbach to Franzensfeste.

From the car park, follow the cycle path in a northerly direction. Shortly after the Acquarena adventure pool, turn right across the Eisack and take the gravel path 16/16a to Oberdorf. Marking 4 takes you to Raas. Here turn right onto the blue-white marked gravel path, past the small lakes Raiermoss, Speicher and Laugen to Natz. Continue along the trail until you reach the Viumser Kreuz cross. From here, turn right down into the Rienzschlucht gorge and past Rodenegg Castle back up to Vill. At the Edelwei&szlig settlement, turn left and follow the gravel path (marked 7) to Mühlbach. Now follow the signs for the cycle route. Turn right onto trail no. 9a and continue to Aicha. Along the Franzenfeste reservoir to Franzenfeste and back along the cycle path in the direction of Brixen. Past the Vahrner See lake to Vahrn and continue on marker 2 to the military cemetery. Through Brixen back to the starting point at Fischuchtweg. The tour was made available by Alex Resch.
