Easy ascent, difficult descent
The ascent to the malga Riemerbergl alpine hut is easy but the downhill trail is only advisable for experienced bikers.

The downhill Schwemmalm cable-car station is the starting point. Downstream until the dam. Bear left and travel uphill along the asphalt road for ca. 6,7 km. From the Riem stop to the left along the forestry road for about 3 km uphill until the Riemerbergl alpine hut (2,049 m). Carry on downhill along the Riemerbergl through the trail: after 660 m bear right and follow the N.4 marking. You reach the forestry road, travel along this road for ca.1 km and then proceed along the trail until the Marson farm houses. From there, carry on downhill on the asphalt road until the junction with the valley road. At the junction bear right and after about 1 km you will be back at the starting point.
