With a little help from a lift Despite the Seceda cable car, this tour requires both endurance and a solid riding technique. It may run mainly on forest paths and side streets, but the trails will put you to the test.
Riders' efforts are rewarded with a trail on the sunny side of the Gardena valley running past the Puez-Geisler nature park. Having seen the Geisler group, the Sellastock, the Langkofel, the Plattkofel, the Seiser Alm and the glacier-covered peak of the Marmolada, you will be able to vividly describe the beauty of the Dolomites to your friends at home, probably accompanied by the sensation of the exhausting 900m vertical climb to the Raschötzhütte. The first descent, in part down the ski piste to the middle station of the Seceda lift, requires some sense of direction. Mountain biker hearts are then sure to start beating faster on the panoramic trail from the Seceda to the Regensburger Hütte! Please be cautious though: in the high season, there are lots of walkers around.
