Vom Parkplatz Zumis aus geht es im leichten Auf und Ab über die Almstraße vorbei am Pianer Kreuz bis zur Astalm kurz nach der Starkenfeldhütte. Dort biegen wir rechts ab hinunter zur Steiner Alm und weiter über den Steig bis zur Raffreid Alm, wo wir wieder auf eine Almstraße treffen. Dieser folgen wir bis zur Kreuzwiesenalm. Von der Kreuzwiesenalm geht es dann bergab über die Almstraße, vorbei an den Parkplätzen Schweiger Böden und Oberflitt, durch den Weiler Flitt wieder zurück nach Lüsen.
