Start at the ➊ dam on Lake Reschen. Roll along the lake with a photo session at the ➋ tower in the lake to ➌ Reschen with a leisurely descent over the ➍ border towards Nauders. 500 m before the Nauders ➎ cable car, take a sharp right and ride along a steep gravel road to the ➏ Bergkastel mountain station. You can stop for refreshments in the mountain restaurant. From now on the most beautiful part of the tour begins. Take the ascent path back to the ➐ Bergkastelalpe and continue left to the ➑ Plamortboden high moor and the ➒ tank barriers. After overcoming the barriers, the ➓ view opens up over the Vinschgau Valley with its unique lake landscape. The descent to Reschen is via the ⓫ Trail No. 1, or for less technically experienced bikers, via the old military trail towards Graun.
