Difficult Up and Downhill
This difficult MTB tour across the Pfunderer Joch (Passo di Fundres) treats you to magnificent views of the Pfunder alpine scenery

From Natz (Naz) ride along the road to the Hotel Seehof. Turn right and follow the gravel road to Sciaves (Schabs). At the Hotel Brunnen turn left and follow route no.8 until you reach the petrol station. From here, take the cycle path to Vipiteno (Sterzing). Shortly before you reach it, branch off right into the Pfitsch valley (Val di Vizze) and follow to the tar road to Fußendross (Fossa Trues - 1381m). Here turn right again and take path no.17 up to the Großbergalm. Now the uphill gradient gets increasingly difficult, some people might have to push! At the next crossroads, turn left and keep on path 17a across the stream and up onto the Pfunderer Joch (2568m). A series of interesting single tracks take you downhill to Weitenbegalm (1960m) and along a sandy forest path to Pfunders (Fundres - 1158m). The tour continues on the road into the valley to Vintl (Vandoies - 756m). Then turn right onto the cycle path to Mühlbach (Rio di Pusteria). Return via Schabs (Sciaves) to the starting
