Gorgeous mountain bike trail from Gardena to the Seiser Alm

This tour has been provided by Val Gardena/Gröden Marketing From the starting point in St. Christina, roll (almost) completely downhill, staying along the Gardena stream until St. Ulrich. Here you reach the lower station of the Seiser Alm cable car, where two bikes plus riders can easily fit into the round gondolas. A few minutes later you're at the highest point of the tour at almost 2000m and can enjoy a magnificent panorama of the Dolomites. With the view including the Schlern, the Rosszähnen, the Plattkofel and the Langkofel, no doubts can be raised at the tour's name. An easy descent on gravel followed by a climb on asphalt takes you to the first place to stop for a snack, the Gasthaus Icaro. A few kilometres on, now going downhill again, on the left of the road to Saltria you will find the rustic Rauchhütte, which serves tremendous food.
