Short and (almost) painless
If you don't have much time, but still want to get your heart rate up a bit, enjoy a beautiful view and good food, pack your mountain bike and head to Hafling.

We start at the Nusser car park (direction Falzeben), then drive a short distance back along the road we came from and turn left into the narrow Locherstra&szlig before entering the main road. „Moschwald Nr. 15“ is the indication on the signpost. At the entrance to the dense „Moschwald“ forest road begins. We stay on No. 15, pass the Moschwald and Maiser alpine pastures, and finally reach the Kreuzjön, with its great views. The ascent is quite pleasant, except for a few short steep sections. In order to just break the 2000 mark, we now turn left along the narrow trail (caution: hiking trail) no. 4 in the direction of the Meraner Hütte. After a very short technical section we rejoin the forest road and can already see the Meraner Hütte, an Alpine Club refuge, ahead of us. From there we continue past the Kirchsteiger Alm and turn left downhill. Take the forest road past the Rotwand and Zuegg huts to the Falzeben car park. From there we take the road back to the starting point. All
