The loop runs mostly on asphalt or gravel roads and is mostly easy in terms of riding technique. Only the narrow trail to Pescol is a bit more difficult, but still easy to master. Before that, however, the sometimes steep climbs up to the Jueljoch and the Chi Jus pass take some effort. As compensation, we are rewarded with impressive views of the Puez Group.

Turn-by-turn directions

From the car park at the end of Abtei/Badia, we start on the cycle path along the road to the north and then ride up a small road to the half-ruined mountain village of Pescol. On mainly gravelled paths, we descend via the Jueljoch to Longiarü (refreshment stop) and continue to Ties. From here we fight our way up a steep gravel road to the pass Chi Jus. Via Picedac and Aiarei we first descend briefly, then continue slightly uphill until a trail begins at the edge of the forest. On this trail we return to Pescol. Now we follow a beautiful cart track down until we meet the small road on which we rode up at the beginning of the tour. From here we return to Abtei/Badia along the same route as on the outward journey.
