Mountain bike panoramic tour over the Jochgrimm Pass
This tour is worthwhile for the fantastic, wide panoramic views of the Catinaccio and the Latemar group alone. From a technical point of view, the route is easy and takes you over the scenic Jochgrimm Pass.

The biggest challenge of the tour is the extremely steep climb from the Schwarzenbach Valley to the Lavazé Pass. Once we have mastered the flatter ascent to the Jochgrimm Pass, a unique view of the Dolomites opens up. The sunny meadow below the Weißhorn and Schwarzhorn is the perfect place to take a break. Towards the end of the tour, we also enjoy a flowing descent past the pilgrimage church of Maria Weißenstein. A detour to the Bletterbach Gorge, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site for good reason, is absolutely worthwhile.

Turn-by-turn directions
From the Sparkasse in Nova Ponente we head out of town past the industrial estate up the road to the Laabalm (1649 m). After a short flat climb, we descend on gravel paths into the Schwarzenbachtal valley. Finally, we turn onto trail no. 9 and torture our way steeply uphill to the Lavazé Pass (1808 m). At first briefly on the pass road, then mainly on gravel and at the end again on the pass road, we ride via the Auerleger Alm up to the Jochgrimm Pass (1989 m). From here we follow trail no. 1 until trail no. 5a branches off above Neuhütt. We descend on the gravel path and later on trail no. 8 on an initially somewhat rougher path down to the pilgrimage church of Maria Weißenstein. Via trails no. 4 and 4a, the descent is flowing until trail no. 2 branches off at a crossroads. We return to Deutschnofen on this trail.
For a visit to the Bletterbach Gorge, we turn off during the descent from the Jochgrimm Pass to Maria Weißenstein in the direction of the Lahneralm. From here we descend to the GEOPARC Bletterbach visitor centre below the Lahneralm.
On the tour there are plenty of places to stop for refreshments at the Laabalm, the Lavazé Pass, the Auerleger Alm, the Jochgrimm Pass and the pilgrimage site of Maria Weißenstein.
